‘BEING ORGANIC IN EU’ PROMOTES EUROPEAN ORGANIC AT MARCA 2023

Being Organic in EU among the protagonists at Marca 2023. The main international event dedicated to the MDD sector took place on 18 and 19 January at BolognaFiere.

An institutional stand, the promotion of the workshop on the role of organic products in the large-scale retail trade, and the organisation of B2B meetings in the lounge area between buyers and operators to create business opportunities: the Being Organic project has coloured the most important Private Label showcase with green.

In the large exhibition area, Being Organic in EU’s initiatives to raise consumer awareness of more ethical, healthy, and sustainable consumption by communicating in a very clear way the positive effects of an organic diet for human health and the environment were explored.

Being Organic in EU promoted the workshop “Organic in Modern Italian Distribution: evolutionary scenario, performance, role, market spaces”. During the event, the development potential of organic products in modern distribution was analysed, in a context marked by the pitfalls of greenwashing and economic contraction, identifying new tools and platforms for collaboration between producers and distributors.

The participation of Being Organic in EU at MARCA also included the creation of the Buyers Lounge, a B2B space reserved for meetings with buyers to create new business opportunities. These initiatives are part of the Being Organic in EU campaign promoted by FederBio in collaboration with Naturland and co-financed by the European Union pursuant to EU Reg. n.1144/2014.
